Further measures to support UK business continue to be created and announced by the UK Government. Yesterday we learnt about the financing measures for innovative and high growth potential SMEs who might not be eligible for other Government backed loan support. This scheme is to be known as the Future Fund and is scheduled to launch in May 2020.

There was also a further tranche of support announced for R&D intensive small and medium sized firms. We understand that grants and loans under this £750m fund are available to businesses that are members of Innovate UK, the national innovation agency.
